Travel and Stay Grant
ESRA offers a number of Travel and Stay Grants for participants attending its biennial conference. The Travel and Stay Grants are primarily intended to facilitate and encourage the participation of Postgraduate Students and Early Career Researchers. The grants are offered to those in need of financial support. Postgraduates and Early Career Researchers from countries with developing economies will be given priority and are therefore strongly encouraged to apply.
The Travel and Stay Grants, limited to €500 maximum, cover an individual’s travel and stay expenses. Grant recipients are also compensated for the basic registration fee (excluding extras like short courses and the conference dinner). An accepted first author presentation proposal is required to receive a Travel and Stay Grant. Applications will be judged on the basis of an extended abstract (max. 1500 words), the applicant’s C.V., and a letter of motivation (max. 500 words). Applications should be made via the Abstract Submission System.
Applicants should indicate their interest through the abstract submission form (by 20th December 2024). Pending the abstract’s acceptance, applicants will be contacted to submit the extended abstract, the applicant’s C.V., and a letter of motivation before 1st March 2025.
