ESRA 2025 Short Courses

ESRA is inviting proposals for short courses to be taught in person at the ESRA 2025 conference in Utrecht, Netherlands. Topics of the short courses should fall within the scope of ESRA’s research interests. All short courses will be 3 hours long and ideally should have some interactive component(s) (if applicable). Short courses will run on Monday the 14th of July 2025.

For all instructors of short courses the conference fee will be waived, and you will receive 500 euros per course or 25 euros per participant if the number of participants is higher than 20. If a course has more than one instructor, the amount offered per course will remain the same but the financial compensation will be shared between the instructors.

All short course proposals should contain the following:

  • Instructor(s) name(s), contact information, short bio(s)
  • Short course description (maximum of 300 words), including learning objectives, activities, and course level (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

Members of the ESRA Committee will review the proposals. The final selection of short courses will be based on relevance of the topics and diversity of instructors.

The deadline for applications is Friday the 5th of October 2024 at 5pm UK time. Proposals should be sent to Olga Maslovskaya on om206(at)soton.ac.uk.
